• Don’t Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a beer occasionally, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and cheques at home. Grab whatever money you anticipate to use on drinks, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to squander and keep the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well experience a win after a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to catch a 25 minute toss at a hot craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and bet. The two just don’t mix.

Keeping your cash back at the hotel might be a little bit dramatic, but precautionary measures for drastic actions is required. If you gamble to succeed, then do not drink and bet. If you like to burn your assets nary a worry, then drink all the free booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled head squanders everything!

Allow me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop on the internet to wager in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my abode, but because I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.

How come? Despite the fact that I do not drink to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is certainly enough to befuddle my common sense. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create an awful, and expensive, cocktail.
